Debut Entry! July 2025

Welcome to the first entry of this all-new blog!  I'm excited to get started, bringing you updates on my work in progress, exhibitions, courses and workshops, and so much more!

Let's start in Norway... !

It was a great honor to be invited to join so many talented friends and colleagues for this year's Nerdrum Clan exhibition, which was organized by Bork Nerdrum.  This year's event opened July 15th 2025 at the Grand Quarter hotel in Larvik, Norway, and I was elated to hear that the work I sent, Study of an Old Man, sold the night before the opening during a special preview event.  The Nerdrum Clan exhibition runs through August 23rd 2025.

This month marks my first appearance in American Art Collector magazine's Portrait Artists Directory.  If you or anyone you know is interested in a custom portrait painting or mural, please visit my website at robertdalewilliams.com for details about beginning something special today!

July wrapped up with today's opening at the Sounds of Summer exhibition at the York Art Association.  My contribution to the show, Spiral, is a 24 x 18" oil on panel being exhibited for the first time.  The exhibition runs through September 7th 2025.
